Jonathan lives and works in Liberia has been a governance adviser with the Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative since 2014.
He leads Liberia's Private Sector Development workstream which supports the National Investment Commission and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to drive the development of priority sectors: rubber processing, oil palm, cocoa and fisheries/aquaculture. Jonathan also provides support to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of State on post-ebola prioritisation and delivery and in identifying ways to improve access to finance for the agricultural and manufacturing sectors.
Prior to joining AGI, Jonathan worked as a consultant. He developed Malawi's National Export Strategy and established a trade, industry and private sector development sector wide approach. Jonathan was an ODI Fellow in Guyana's National Competitiveness Strategy Unit where among other things he operationalised the Competition Commission.
